News Items for the Week of July 25
CLOTHING DRIVE
If you have gently used adult size clothing and shoes to donate, please bring them to the church office. Highland will deliver these items to Seattle First Covenant Church for distribution to the homeless community the last Saturday of September and October. Large size clothing and coats are particularly appreciated as these folks need to dress in layers to stay warm during the fall and winter months. If you have questions please call Dave Shelton at 425.420.8946.

FIRE CODE COMPLIANCE REMINDER
In order to maintain compliance with Bellevue Fire Codes: 1. Door stops may only be used to prop open doors if the room is occupied. When vacating a room, door stops must be removed and doors closed, including in case of fire. 2. Exit corridors and stairways must be kept clear. Please do not store anything in stairways or hallways.
CHILDREN IN THE CONGO
The children are bringing their offering to Sunday School to help children in the Congo with educational supplies and mosquito netting. We would love to have parents help them remember each week.
