Highland Kids at the Park
If you have kids of any age and would enjoy meeting at a park occasionally over the summer, please join us for some outside fun. We meet sometime between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. at the park and stay however long we or our kids can manage. Bring a picnic lunch if you want to eat before going home. Tent City Volunteer Opportunity
Iglesai Latinoamericana (ILA) helps out at Tent City on the 2nd Sunday of each month by preparing & serving meals for the residents. The next meal preparing date is Sunday, Aug. 8th. They start preparing the meals at Highland’s fellowship hall kitchen at 2:00 pm to be ready for the 5:15 pm departure to Tent City’s current location in Kirkland. If you would like to help, please contact Cecilia Salazar (425-638-2719) and let her know if you would like to help w/ preparing or serving the meals or both. Jubilee Service Day 2010
Participating teachers have submitted wish lists at nine elementary schools. They’ll be in their classrooms Saturday, August 14, waiting for the volunteers, followers of Jesus from over 20 churches, to assist completion of opening school tasks. You can volunteer in the AM shift (8-12pm) or the PM shift (1-5 pm) or both. Volunteers with sewing machines are needed at Stevenson Elementary to sew the much appreciated chair bags. There are also 15 approved homes in needed of volunteers to “beautify” their homes. Every volunteer counts! There is a second service day planned for Saturday, August 21, from 9-1pm at Ardmore Elementary to unpack boxes and help with classroom set up. NPC Women's Retreat

Covenant Men’s Retreat
Save the date for this year’s Men’s retreat at Cascades camp from Sept. 24-26.
